Logo is a very simple programming language with origins that stretch back to the time when computers were mush simpler (and had lot less bits). It's a very good language with which to teach programming.
This implementation is written from scratch using C++, and also serves as a way for people to see examples of "Boost" library features in use, so it serves a dual purpose as a leanring tool for programming, and as a learning tool for C++ programming.
Currently under development, PHLogo is developed exclusively with the idea of "Test Driven Design/Development" in mind, and in fact one of the early verbs to be added to the language was a "testsuite" verb used for writing tests against the language.
